Owner’s Manual
Pietta is known worldwide for its authentic historical firearms reproductions. The Davidson’s Exclusive feature a deep blued finish on the frame, cylinder, and barrel. The trigger guard, front strap, and back strap are high-polished brass.
The sights are the open fixed type with a notch at the rear and a bladed front. The 1873 model features the traditional four-click hammer and chambering has a 4.75” barrel.
In 1873, Colt’s single-action Army (SAA) revolver became the Army’s standard sidearm. Cavalry troopers were armed with the new revolvers. Lawmen and outlaws alike were quick to adopt the handy new 6-shooter which earned the nickname “Peacemaker.”
